Thank you for your interest in our services. Before filing in this form, please read the following statement in order to check that TMC can be of help to you in the supply of entertainment for your special day.
TMC are members of the Agents' Association (Great Britain) and our policy is not to get involved with potential clients who are already dealing with other Association members.
Over 99% of entertainment that fails to turn up at weddings is booked direct.
All main venues prefer that you book all your entertainment via a recognised agency such as ourselves, in order to ensure that everything goes to plan. If you have been searching or wish to continue searching for entertainment to book direct, either through recommendation or via the internet, TMC would choose not to get involved.
Booking through an agency such as TMC is not necessarily more expensive. A number of bands that we supply will actually charge more for a direct booking due to the amount of personal time that the band leader may have to put aside to deal with the booking. TMC are members of the Agents Association (Great Britain) and are regulated by the Department of Trade and Industry. TMC will provide legally binding contracts and offer the back up to ensure that all eventualities are catered for.
If you chose to book through another agency and not TMC, we would advise you (for your own peace of mind), to ensure that the agency that you do deal with, is a member of the Agents Association (Great Britain).
Viewing prospective entertainment live, before booking, is increasingly difficult. TMC do not guarantee this as an option. With over fifteen years experience and thousands of weddings successfully arranged, we are aware of the concerns this may bring up. Because of TMC’s knowledge and experience in finding the right entertainment, you can be assured that this will not pose a problem. We do not supply substandard or mediocre bands. With over sixty bands currently on demo, TMC have an unparalleld choice.
Some web sites can be confusing and misleading, similar to some of the demos that are sent to our company. Bands can spend a month in a recording studio to emerge with a superb demo but it's of no use to anyone, if the band cannot perform the same standard live. TMC constantly check out demos and set lists that are sent to us. We filter out and will if necessary, discard any bands that are not up to our high standards.
Almost every band web site will start with the words "Scotland's Top Function or Ceilidh Band" They can't all be top and some that we know are very much bottom of the barrel. Independent advice is the only way forward and that can only be offered by an agency with experience in this business.
