Gabby Logan was born into a sporting family. Her father was Terry Yorath the Welsh soccer internationalist and manager. Gabby herself is a former gymnast who represented Wales in the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Her presenting career started in 1996 when she took on a presenting position with Sky sports. A few years later she joined ITV and spent almost 10 years with them before eventually moving to the BBC.
In 2001 Gabby married the former Scottish Rugby Internationalist Kenny Logan.
This year saw Gabby as one of the main presenters for BBC's coverage of the 2012 London Olympics.
