Jez Rose is The Behaviour Expert; an internationally renowned behaviourist, professional presenter and award-winning author with more than 12 years global experience hosting conferences and awards ceremonies.
He is known worldwide as the "go-to" host if you're looking for "memorable, entertaining and professional", for a list of clients that reads like a "who's who" of leading global brands, including: Old Mutual Wealth, Merck Serono, Unum, Wella, Boehringer Ingelheim and Audi.
Jez Rose began his career in the NHS and worked as a comedy performer to help fund his studies in psychology and behaviour before a short stint as a further education teacher, lecturing on everyday applications of psychology to help positively change behaviour. It is this combination of professionalism, compassion and his ability to bring humour to almost any situation that makes him so unique and so highly regarded by production companies worldwide.
Today, Jez travels extensively as the friendly face for awards ceremonies and conferences. If you want a host to simply read autocue then Jez is not for you. Regularly asked to offer his advice and input as a behaviourist specialising in behaviour change, Jez Rose brings a wealth of experience and knowledge not only in live events but in handling audiences and almost any situation - he has, after all, continued to hold the show together on a sinking cruise ship, during a mass power cut at an exhibition and whilst being chatted up live on television in Prague by an elderly lady. Over the past 12 years he has hosted conferences and presented awards in more than 14 countries, 158 cities and to more than 100,000 people. He writes for international media publications including CNN, Minutehack.com
and The Daily Telegraph. He has made more than 100 appearances on television and radio, including in his own 60 minute pilot for ITV1, as well as on popular shows for Channel 4, The Discovery Channel and BBC1's Breakfast Show.
An award-winning author of several books, including his latest published by Capstone, Flip the Switch, ask Jez what he believes makes organisations succeed and stand out from the crowd and he'll tell you that the most important asset of any organisation is their people: "The trouble is that most people don't know why they do the things they do and how to change them for the better - higher performance is available to all of us with fundamentally simple changes to how we think."
He is a Faculty Member of the award-winning Unite University, a founding member of the National Association for Training Excellence and Faculty Lead for the ground-breaking research pilot The Good Life Project. In 2014 and again in 2016 he was invited to speak at the world-renowned TEDx conferences.
