David Tanner has worked in the live coverage of football for almost three decades. Best known as a TV presenter, David now freelances for a range of broadcasters including BT Sport and the BBC. During this time he has become an accomplished host of events and conferences in the business and charity fields.
He enjoyed 18 years with Sky Sports as the face of live coverage of Scottish football, both at home and across Europe. As reporter and studio anchor, he covered big football games in over 30 countries. His all-time favourite is Scotland's famous win in Paris.

He was the only journalist to be granted access to Cristiano Ronaldo on the occasion of his Real Madrid debut. He admits to having been truly starstruck when he met Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.
He has appeared on stage with Billy Connolly at Edinburgh's famous Usher Hall and Sir Rod Stewart's hilarious appearance on the Scottish Cup draw with David went viral!
