Jackie Bird
Jackie Bird is a journalist. She is a legend in broadcasting and one of the best known faces on television in Scotland. Up until 2019 Jackie presented the BBC’s nightly news programme, Reporting Scotland for the best part of 30 years. She is the programme’s longest serving presenter. Jackie also worked extensively on radio. She is an accomplished writer who produced a series of comedy sketch shows, The Lewis Lectures, for BBC Radio Scotland.
