Jeremy Paxman is one of the most familier faces on BBC television. He has been presenting BBC's Newsnight sinse the late 80's and is the current host and chair of the long running student quiz 'University Challenge'.

A prolific writer Jeremy has written a number of books covering a huge range of subjects including Royalty, fly fishing. Victorian art and of course, politics.

1996 saw the start of a string of awards for Jeremy when he received a BAFTA Richard Dimbleby Award for ''outstanding presenter in the factual arena.'' Later in 98 he won the Royal Television Society's Interviewer of the Year Award for his unforgetable interview with Michael Howard on Newsnight, along with the Broadcasting Press Guild's award for best ''non-acting'' performer. 2000 saw a second Richard Dimbleby Award with further nominations in 01 and 02. Jeremy has also won the Royal Television Society TV journalism presenter of the year award twice, once in 02 and again in 07.
