Jim Delahunt is currently the presenter of Clyde 1 Superscoreboard. He is also a football and racing columnist for the Scottish Sun.

Jim has been a television presenter for nearly 20 years, having made his name as sports anchor on STV's Scotland Today programme, before moving to become the main presenter on the long running series, Scotsport, for 8 seasons.

After moving to satellite broadcaster Setanta Sports in 2006, Jim presented a host of broadcasts including The Full SPL highlights programme and the football discussion show, Press Box. He was also anchor man for live German and French football on the channel, as well as presenting rugby and boxing.

Jim's passion, away from his television work, is horse-racing. As well as being a keen race goer, he also used to ride out for some of the top stables in the country. Jim actually rode in races before realising that weight, injury and a serious lack of ability were holding him back.

A couple of placed efforts were the best he could muster in the saddle but the experience stood him in good stead for his parallel journalistic career, as a racing writer.

As a presenter, Jim covered the 1998 football World Cup. He also covered the European Championships of 1992 and '96 and three Rugby World Cup tournaments.

In his career Jim had the pleasure of meeting two of his all time greatest sporting heroes, Muhammad Ali and Lester Piggott. Another sporting thrill that Jim still rates highly, was his solo parachute jump for charity. Jim continues to broadcast and write his regular newspaper column. He is a superb, professional host presenter and engaging after dinner speaker.
