Helen Skelton
Helen Skelton is a BBC Blue Peter presenter who has worked on the programme since 2008.
Over the years, Helen has made herself a name, as someone who will happily throw themself into any number of extreme challenges, which over the past few years, have earned her an amazing reputation and a world record.
In 2010, for Sports Relief, Helen kayaked over 2,000 miles along the Amazon and in January this year, she embarked on another Polar Challenge which saw her tackle 500 miles of the icy and treacherous terrain of Antartica, to reach the South Pole with the use of skis, kite-ski and bikes. Helen will likely get herself into the Guiness Book of World Records, by becoming the first person to reach the South Pole by bike.
