Michelle McManus

Michelle McManus is one of the hardest working presenters, hosts, DJs and of course, singers in Scotland. She currently has almost 20,000 followers on Twitter.

She was the main presenter of Scottish Television's popular weekday magazine show ''The Hour'' and she has become a regular at Glasgow's main Christmas Pantomime in The Pavilion. She also had a sell out show at The Edinburgh Fringe called Reality: The Musical

Michelle took part in two ''You Are What You Eat,'' documentaries (the first of which achieved the show's highest ever ratings). To co-incide with the broadcasts, Michelle published her best selling diary ''Michelles Diary'' and later presented her first DVD ''The Life Plan''.

She has hosted her own Saturday night radio show on the top rated independent station in Scotland, Radio Clyde and her own series ''Let's Do The Show Right Here'' on BBC Radio Scotland.

Michelle received rave reviews for her appearance in the ''Vagina Monologues'' at the Millennium Theatre in Derry and she appeared in the same piece for a sold out week in Edinburgh. Other theatre successes include an Edinburgh Festival run of ''Discotivity''.

Michelle has made a guest appearance in 'Still Game' (BBC2) and toured the Far East in ''Little Voice''.

Having won Pop Idol in 2003 her first single, 'All This Time', was number one for three weeks and rated as the second biggest selling British single of 2004. Michelle McManus was the first Scottish female to debut at number one and the single was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award. Her album ''The Meaning of Love'' was also hugely successful.
